The Script

What would you do if every secret you ever heard was permanently etched into your skin? Sixteen-year-old Melanie Marcus is a Script. Scripts have the uncanny ability to have every secret they hear tattooed permanently on their skin. Melanie isn't any ordinary Script as she bears the secrets of a deadly dictatorship on her skin. She holds the fate of everyone written in tiny letters on her abdomen. After her old life ends in flames intended to kill her, Melanie escapes. But as she escapes the hands of one dangerous group, she falls into the hands of the Wanderer, an isolated rebel leader with hopes of using her secrets to overthrow the Dictators. But the Wanderer isn't the only one hoping to use her for his own gain. Now she has captured the attention of all the rebels. But none of them is worse than Luca. A sociopathic leader of the Hunters, if Luca comes to power, the world as they know it will erupt into chaos. Melanie and the Wanderer must work together to overthrow both Luca and the Dictators, but she comes to realize that one decision can change everything.
